RUM for Mid-Market 2026

100,000 to 1 million sessions per month is the largest band in the published-pricing space. Most RUM vendors target it with mid-tier subscriptions. Per-session pricing differences become operationally meaningful here.

Direct answer
Which RUM vendor wins mid-market by total cost?
At 500K sessions/month with moderate replay: Atatus Growth ($99/mo), Sematext Standard ($99/mo), LogRocket Team ($295/mo), Sentry Team + overage (~$300/mo), Raygun Business (~$800/mo, its 200K-session Team tier is exceeded here), Dynatrace ($1,125/mo basic), Datadog ($2,250/mo). Atatus and Sematext are the price leaders; Datadog is 22x more expensive.

Skip Datadog at mid-market

Datadog at ~$1,575/month for 500K sessions (RUM before any replay add-on) is roughly 30x the AWS CloudWatch rate and about 16x the Atatus/Sematext rates. The product is excellent but the cost only makes sense when you're already on Datadog for APM and want the unified observability story. Pure mid-market RUM purchases on Datadog rarely make financial sense.

The hidden cost: replay percentage

The table above is RUM base rates. Session replay is a separate add-on for Datadog, Dynatrace and Sentry, so real bills rise with replay coverage. At 50% replay on 500K sessions:

Because Datadog, Dynatrace and Sentry all meter replay separately, higher replay coverage raises them together. Datadog remains the most expensive of the three at every replay level, so full-replay workloads do not improve its relative position.
