Pingdom RUM pricing cannot currently be verified. The pricing page returned 403 Forbidden on automated verification (June 2026). Historical Pingdom RUM pricing was per-page-view tier starting around $10/month. SolarWinds bundles Pingdom RUM with Pingdom synthetic monitoring.

The pricing model
Public pricing page was inaccessible (403) at last verification. Historical Pingdom pricing has been tier-based by page views per month.
What we couldn't verify
On 2026-06-16, our automated verification pass returned a 403 Forbidden when fetching the Pingdom RUM pricing page. This is a fabrication-risk flag: we will not publish a specific dollar amount for Pingdom RUM until we can verify it against the vendor's own pricing page. The matrix on our homepage flags Pingdom with a “Quote Only” badge as a result.
The 403 may be a deliberate WAF configuration to block bots, a Cloudflare rule, or a real takedown of the public pricing page. We do not know which. We have not contacted SolarWinds directly to verify; we recommend any procurement team interested in Pingdom RUM do so as part of due diligence.
What historical Pingdom RUM pricing looked like
Pingdom historically published RUM as a per-page-view tiered subscription. Entry tier was around $10/month for a small page-view allowance, scaling up to enterprise tiers for higher volumes. Pingdom is owned by SolarWinds (acquired 2014, part of SolarWinds Observability portfolio) and the RUM product has been bundled with Pingdom Synthetic Monitoring (uptime checks, transaction monitoring) as part of the broader Pingdom platform.
The lightweight historical pricing positioning made Pingdom RUM popular for small commercial sites that wanted minimal synthetic monitoring + RUM in one product. Whether this positioning persists in 2026, and at what current price, we cannot confirm.
The SolarWinds Observability bundle
SolarWinds has been migrating Pingdom into the broader SolarWinds Observability platform (which also includes SolarWinds APM, Database Monitoring, Server & Application Monitor, and Network Performance Monitor). Some customers report that new Pingdom contracts roll into SolarWinds Observability pricing rather than standalone Pingdom rates. This transition may explain the current pricing-page accessibility issue.
How Pingdom RUM compares (historically)
- Versus Raygun, both target the cost-conscious-commercial-RUM tier. Raygun publishes $80/year Basic; Pingdom historically published ~$10/month for an entry tier. The categories overlap significantly.
- Versus Datadog RUM, Pingdom historically was an order of magnitude cheaper for low-volume use, with significantly fewer features and integrations.
- Versus Catchpoint, both bundled synthetic + RUM. Catchpoint targets enterprise ($10K-$12K/year floor); Pingdom historically targeted mid-market and SMB.
What to do if Pingdom RUM is on your shortlist
- Contact SolarWinds sales directly, pricing is currently quote-only from our verification standpoint.
- Ask whether you would be on legacy Pingdom standalone pricing or new SolarWinds Observability bundled pricing.
- Get the per-page-view or per-session rate in writing before signing.
- Compare against Raygun ($80/year Basic published) and Sentry ($26/month Team published) as transparently-priced alternatives.
For the operational consequences of vendor pricing opacity, see quote-only vendors. For transparently-priced cheaper alternatives in the same category, see Raygun pricing and Sentry pricing.
